Crisis Intervention Services

Face-to-face interaction with a person in response to a crisis or emergency situation including an urgent evaluation of the crisis situation and the individuals response, a risk management of lethality, propensity of violence, and medical/physical condition including drug or alcohol use, the mental status of the client, and information about the individual’s strengths, coping skills, and social support network, including face-to-face contact with family and collateral informants. Services are provided by appropriately licensed or credentialed staff.Â
